Mr. Grunkle was tired of scrubbing dust and rain marks off of his gift store windows. He ordered exterior shades for the two windows that get the most wind, and he said he preferred motorized units he could control from inside.
Like always, we started by measuring Mr. Grunkle’s window frames and scoping out the structure and layout of the walls around them. The Lutron Pico wireless control system made a good match for this building, and the wiring connected easily to the outside window frames. The motorized exterior shades we sized and installed are shaded waterproof canvas, and easy to clean. Some brackets on the outside of the window, for the shades to slide along, ensure that they won’t blow around. We gave both sets of Mr. Grunkle’s new exterior shades some practical testing before calling it a job done.
